ReStore

Provide customer service to shoppers on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10 am to 4 pm. Interact with members of the community, price items, and arrange inventory. We ask for a commitment of one day per month. Group volunteers are encouraged. 

Construction

Build the Habitat house from the ground up -- electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting, roofing, framing, finish work, etc.

 



Family Selection

Work with a committee in choosing our affiliate's next Habitat partner families.

 

Family Support

Work with other volunteers to offer mentoring, homeowner education and support to partner families and homeowners.

 

Resource Development (Fundraising) 

Work with staff and Board of Directors on implementing comprehensive plan to increase financial resources and in-kind donations.

Our Volunteers



Perennial NWV Habitat volunteers John Stoffregen, Paul Tanzer, and Rod Bullard build the forms for the zero lot-line homes in Canby, Oregon. Stoffregen is a regular contributor to Habitat for Humanity builds. Tanzer supervised the last three home builds, and shares his experience and knowledge as an ongoing, irreplaceable volunteer. Bullard, meanwhile, always makes time in his schedule to help out on various NWV Habitat projects. Read more...
