Thank You to Our Partners

The City of Molalla has opened their arms to NWV Habitat and this year's build. With the help of an overwhelmingly positive response from Molalla churches, businesses, nonprofit organizations, and individuals, this first Habitat build in the Molalla community promises to be a great success.

A special thank you goes to the Huddart Family Foundation for continuing their ongoing support of NWV Habitat by funding construction for one of the Molalla homes. In addition the Huddart Family Foundation has pledged matching funds in support of this year's Build-a-Thon. Members of the Huddart family are also involved with NWV Habitat as volunteers and board members.

Funding for the second home is being provided in part by Wells Fargo. Wells Fargo is contributing $30,000 to NWV Habitat as part of the Team Member Volunteer Program which will bring employees from the Molalla branch out to the construction site for 120 hours of service.

This year's build is also part of the NWV Habitat Build-a-Thon which brings together NWV Habitat volunteers as workers and fundraisers. For more information click on the picture below:

Helping hard-working families find homes since 1986.

Thirty-seven homes have been built in the North Willamette Valley since our affiliate was founded in 1986. This would not have been possible without the dedication of volunteers and sponsors in our community. Our next two homes will begin construction this spring in Molalla, Oregon. Future builds are being planned for Gervais and Mount Angel.

Please help your local Habitat by donating land, construction equipment, storage space, office equipment, time, or money.

Molalla 2012

Preliminary planning on two homes in Molalla, the first Habitat build in this community, is underway while the official kick-off ceremony will take place during the NWV Habitat Build-a-Thon on Saturday, June 30. This year's build is sponsored in part by the Huddart Family Foundation and Wells Fargo. Construction will last for approximately six months with the goal that both families will be able to move into their new homes by Christmas 2012.
