Habitat for Humanity partners with local businesses, schools, churches, and civic clubs to host a 2”x 6" x 8” construction stud. Businesses collect donations and decorate the stud by writing loving messages on a stud that will then be used to build walls in a NWV Habitat partner families’ house. These messages will be part of the home forever.
Think of it as a giant community hug.
Through the month of February 2019.
Organizations host a stud and collect donations for signatures. Habitat will drop off and pick up the stud, markers and donations buckets. It is up to each individual group on how they would like to promote the stud. To collect donations, businesses can create a SKU, ask customers to round up their purchase, collect checks or cash donations. In the past High Schools have created a healthy competition between each grade to see who can raise the most funds.
We want to support what works best for your company. Businesses may also choose to sponsor a stud for $200 that can be decorated by your staff. Participating businesses will be featured on our website.
