Welcome to our NWV Habitat Team Build Program!

The Team Build Program and Volunteer Partner Programs are an opportunity for businesses and organizations to use their pledges, gifts, and talents to help those in need in our local area.

Your Team Build can be located on the new home build site, at a ReHabitat home repair project, assisting at a fundraising special event, or at one of our ReStores for the day.

Team Build and Volunteer Partner companies are asked to provide volunteer crews who can be skilled or unskilled. On home build sites or ReHabitat repair projects volunteers must be 16 or older.

Team Build Program –

The cost to participate in the NWV Habitat Team Build program is only $100 per person or a minimum of $1,000. The fee, a tax-deductible donation, helps cover costs for the project you work on, and helps further our vision of everyone having a decent place to live. There is a maximum of 12 volunteers in a Team Build group.  Your Team Build Day Includes:

  • One work day at the build site (maximum of 12 team build members). Substitute your regular work day for a day of building a Habitat for Humanity house!
  • Lunch & beverages for your crew.
  • Souvenir 8×10 photo of your group.
  • NWV Habitat Team Build commemorative t-shirts for each team member.
  • Certificate of appreciation, suitable for framing, for each team member.
  • Recognition in our newsletter, mailed to 4,000 donors and volunteers.
  • Recognition on the NWV Habitat Team Build page of our website with a link to your website; as well as recognition through social media.
  • An invitation to the home dedication ceremony, and your business/group name in the dedication program.

Volunteer Partner Program –

There is no cost to participate in the NWV Habitat Volunteer Partner Program.  We encourage you to pledge or fundraise to cover costs for the project you work on, and helps further our vision of everyone having a decent place to live. The Volunteer Partner program is great for individuals and small groups to be involved and to experience a NWV Habitat construction site. (upon availability)

You and/or your group’s name acknowledged on all published Habitat materials for designated house.

Why be a Team Build partner?

Housing costs in Oregon have continued to rise over the last decade. One out of every four people in Oregon cannot find affordable housing. Habitat for Humanity has shown that building and repairing homes does more than put a roof over someone’s head. In clean, decent, stable housing:

* Families can provide stability for their children.
* A family’s sense of dignity and pride grow.
* Health, physical safety, and security improve.
* Educational and job prospects increase.

Participants in the NWV Habitat Team Build program will not only make a difference for a local family, they and the company will gain by:
* Learning teamwork skills in an informal
setting.
* Motivating employees to get to know each
other better.
* Employees experience firsthand giving back to
the community through your company’s
involvement.
* Fosters employee loyalty.
* Reinforces how important effective
communication is at a company.
* Creates unity among members of your team.
* Supports the fact that a team of individuals
can accomplish more working together than
can an individual working alone.

Team Build is an opportunity for your employees to partner in a truly significant and meaningful way. It is a great way for your business or organization to receive positive media attention, and build employee morale through demonstrating your company’s commitment to our community.
